Team Worldwide Announces Bonded Warehousing and IBEC in Miami

Team Worldwide, a global yet locally-minded freight forwarder and 3PL company, announces new customs bonded services for their International and local customers. Team enhances its presence in Miami with a new bonded warehouse to serve its logistics network and underscores its ongoing commitment to provide competitive global supply chain solutions to their Branch Offices, customers, and overseas agents.  “The expansion of our Miami Gateway to include bonded capabilities is a major advancement in Team’s ability to support the needs of our global customers and partners.  It allows us to handle the transshipment of goods from and to all areas of the world and Latin America,” stated Bob Imbriani, Executive Vice President of International.

Team Worldwide now offers Class 2 Customs Bonded Warehousing and In-Bond Export Consolidation (IBEC) in Miami, Florida. The new bonded warehouse allows Team to handle freight in-bond for their existing customers as well as their overseas agents which can offer them lower costs in duty for goods in transit to overseas destinations. According to Jaime Cabrera, Team’s LATAM Business Development Manager, “Customers and our overseas partners can store their dutiable goods without payment of duties and will have access to bonded facility benefits like no duties on re-exported goods.”

Team’s IBEC will allow freight a short-term entry into the USA thereby allowing customers to avoid paying duty and be able to re-export within 15 days. No duty is collected until goods are withdrawn for consumption. Importers can move freight in transit or consolidate to any overseas destination.  Bonded warehouses are an integral part of the global supply chain.  Team Worldwide is dedicated to continued enhancement of services for meeting the logistics needs of their customers.
