Director of Marketing – Winnsboro, TX

Job Description 

Position Overview and Responsibility

  • Develop the overall marketing strategies for the organization including external communications, product development, customer communications, value propositions, and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget including both a financial budget and a yearly event calendar. The goal with the event calendar is to ensure we have consistent brand awareness throughout the year and resources are allocated to maximize our financial budget.
  • Under the umbrella of “Digital Marketing” develop and execute the company strategy enhancing our website, email marketing, on-line brochures, mobile applications, Google analytics, and social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and other venues.
  • Review and update all collateral material, with an emphasis on content development and branding of Team Worldwide. Collateral material includes customer presentations, PowerPoint presentations, RFP responses, company brochures, advertising slicks, business cards, and promotional items for purchase through the company store.    
  • Work with the executive management team to enhance our social media presence via press releases, executive quotes, speaking engagements, meetings, and campaigns. Attempt to quantify our ROI or at least provide data to support our engagement. 
  • As the organization expands globally, assist in our marketing efforts from a global perspective vs. US-centric. Cultural differences and language barriers need to be addressed as we transition our brand in certain key strategic markets. 

Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to the executive leadership of Team Worldwide, but works in a collaborative approach with both local branch owners and the executive team. Positive interaction with the branch owners will be instrumental in the success of the individual.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 to 7-year experience working within a marketing department of a transportation, logistics or freight forwarding organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing or similar work experience.
  • International, domestic and supply chain knowledge.
  • Confident, driven, high energy, dynamic leader, with strong communication skills.
  • Skillset for copy/content writer for sales collateral, customer communications, press releases, presentations and company announcements.
  • Have or develop industry relationships with the trade press to create and expand opportunities.
  • Multiple languages preferred, but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
  • Computer skills to include, but not limited to, email, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and graphic design. 

Additional Information

  • Full time, Exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Travel may be required, but limited and mainly domestic.

Administrative Assistant to Director of Field Sales – Winnsboro, TX

Team Worldwide is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Field Sales.

Position Overview and Responsibility:

  • Process and prepare customer letters, powerpoint presentations, email communications, and various customer/branch related sales-focused functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of RFQs and RFPs.
  • Assist in travel, hotel, and car rental arrangements.
  • Set up and coordinate sales conference calls to include managing the roster, confirming attendance, coordinating follow-up items, inviting guest speakers, and submitting agenda items to the offices.
  • Provide follow up of sales leads.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the Director of Field Sales.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills: Email, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Graphic Design, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills: written, oral, listening, and interpersonal
